Fundraising

If you want to help with our fundraising, something we are always in need of, that's great!

There are two main ways to go about this, and in either case, let us know (fogweb@gmail.com) what you are planning so we can help.

Ask your friends and family.
This is where the majority of our donations come from - friends of friends. A few dollars here and there eventually add up to the few thousands that we need to support our scholarship recipients. Some things that can help you are:
1. Our brochure (best way with these files is to right-click on the link and choose Save Target As...)
2. A description of the scholarship program and our reasoning for supporting it
3. Some scholarship recipient profiles
This is a great help if you can do it.
Organise a fun event
In the past we have had dinners, a bike-a-thon from Vancouver to Toronto, and slide shows. Other events that are being planned include swing dances, photo gallery sales, t-shirt sales, etc.
If you think you have the time and energy to organise a fun event, let us know (fogweb@gmail.com). We send you our slides, posters, materials that can help get things going.
