In 2004, we supported the following projects:
A University Scholarship Program
We support the university education of four students from Santa Rosa and five students from El Recreo.

A Community Library in Santa Rosa
We contributed funds to build a Community Library in Santa Rosa, a rural community near Leon.
A Communal Garden
We contributed to a communal garden in Hato Viejo, a very remote
comarca of Santa Rosa. We funded the construction of a barbed-wire
fence that protects a very successful community garden.

Various projects in El Recreo
We had volunteers living in El Recreo between October 1995 and February 1998, working with an extensive community project called Generando Vida (for more information on Generando Vida, click here). FOG was also one of several sources of funding for this project during that time.
Various projects in Santa Rosa
We had a volunteer in Santa Rosa from October 1997 until November 1998. The volunteer helped various community projects during that time and FOG made several material donations.
